Yolanda Gibbs
Founder/Executive Director
Yolanda Gibbs is a BSN-RN-BC at a local hospital in S.C., a wife, a mother of two amazing young men, and the “Mema” to one curious grandson. She has mentored young people; particularly, young women in grades 5th through 12th since 2015. Using the pain and heartache she experienced in her childhood, Yolanda feels empowered to help in areas where young people struggle the most and support them through life’s challenges. She is passionate about young people and excited to expose them beyond their experiences.

She is a Charleston native with 30+ years of federal service. She has held various positions as a APWU Union Member- formerly Vice President, currently Secretary and Treasurer for the State of SC and treasurer for Charleston local union. She’s diligent in her pursuit to serve those in need and does so with fierce drive and tenacity.
Twanna Ladson
Secretary
She is a Charleston Native with a BS in Sociology from the College of Charleston. She serves with 10+ years as a Public Servant assisting low income families, as well as individuals with disabilities. She lives by the Golden Rule. Her most recited scripture is Luke 12:48: “To whom much is given; much is required.”
Celeste M. Scott
Chairman
She is a Medical Technologist with 30 years of experience. For the last 26 years, she has been in a management position. Her passion is mentoring and sharing her experiences and knowledge with others. Celeste is a great listener, supportive, and encouraging towards others attaining their goals, aspirations, and through self-development. She willingly supports others through problems and real concerns. She loves traveling with her husband of 19 years, liturgical dance, and her girl’s trips. She is the mother of 2 boys and looks forward to grand-parenting.
